Fast, fun and fabulous! Helicopters are the ultimate off-road machine, and a stunning way to view Scotland’s grand scenery and historic landscape.
Our central Scotland helicopter location is just 30 to 45 minutes drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres, so perfectly positioned for helicopter tours over William “Braveheart” Wallace Country, including Bannockburn, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument.
The William Wallace tour, where you share the helicoper with other participants, costs just £76.
What about learning to fly a helicopter? For a truly memorable experience, book a hands-on one-to-one flying lesson in a Robinson R22.
Helicopters are challenging machines to master, but with patient tuition from your experienced instructor you should soon be able to get to grips with their three basic controls.
Just like in an aircraft, the joystick controls nose up and down and roll from side to side while the rudder pedals change direction. But in a helicopter there’s also the collective to operate, which is the device to control the up and down movement.
It’s complicated - but fun! And don’t worry if it is all gets too complex for you - each helicopter has dual controls so you can relax, enjoy the view and let the instructor do all the work.
Your introductory lesson with a full 30 minutes in the air costs just £150.
